Kyo Bancha

Grown near Uji, Kyoto, this type of tea leaves commonly known as Bancha is called Kyo-bancha and are picked from tea plants during the fall, much later than typical green teas. The tea is well liked for its refreshing aroma and light, smoky flavour.

This is a specialty tea developed in collaboration with Chabashira Tea Roastery.
