Dear Wildies,
At Wild Kombucha, we believe that every sip can spark a little more goodness in the world. This Cancer Awareness Month, we’re proud to collaborate with Kasih Hospice Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to bringing comfort, dignity, and compassion to those in need of palliative care.
Where It All Began
Kasih Hospice started with a simple mission: to make sure no one faces life’s toughest moments alone. Since 2005, they’ve been offering free palliative care to people living with life-limiting illnesses, reminding families that compassion, love, and dignity matter just as much as medicine.
What They Do
Kasih Hospice provides home-based palliative care, allowing patients to receive medical, emotional, and spiritual support in the comfort of their own homes. Their team of doctors and nurses also offer counseling, training and bereavement support, touching lives well beyond the patients themselves.
Why It Matters
Not everyone knows about palliative care, and many families only discover Kasih Hospice when things get overwhelming. On top of that, the foundation relies fully on donations and community support to keep their services free. That’s why spreading the word is so important — awareness can make all the difference.
Making and Impact Together
Over the years, Kasih Hospice Foundation has supported thousands of patients and families, offering comfort in times of need. By collaborating with Kasih Hospice this month, we hope to amplify their message, raise much-needed awareness, and contribute to their ongoing mission.
A Different Kind of Hope
Our newest flavor, Beets of Hope, was created in collaboration with Kasih Hospice Foundation to carry a message beyond taste and has brought us a new perspective on one of life’s most important values: HOPE
When we first shared the name, the team at Kasih Hospice offered us a gentle reminder: HOPE, in the context of palliative care, is not about promising recovery. Instead, it is about something equally profound—the hope for peace, dignity, and freedom from pain at life’s final chapter.
As Kasih Hospice explained, “We are not giving hope that the patient will get better. But the HOPE is that their loved ones will pass peacefully, without pain and struggles.”
This touched us deeply. It redefines what hope means: not just looking forward to brighter tomorrows, but also embracing the quiet, compassionate journey of letting go with love.
Beets of Hope is more than a kombucha flavor. It’s a reminder of resilience, STRENGTH, compassion, and the meaningful work doctors, nurses, caregivers and volunteers does every day to support families through some of life’s most difficult moments.
Speaking of… Strength
But there’s also another part of this journey that often goes unseen: the STRENGTH of caregivers. Family members, friends, and hospice staff give their all—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—to walk alongside their loved ones in their final chapter. They are the unsung heroes of palliative care.
This is why our campaign is called Sip for Strength. Every sip is a tribute to the tireless love, patience, and resilience of caregivers who carry others with grace. Together, Beets of Hope and Sip for Strength remind us that while hope eases the journey, strength carries it through.
Sip for Strength, Beets of Hope
Together, we believe that small acts—whether it’s a compassionate touch, a supportive community, or even a sip of kombucha—can create ripples of hope.
As such this month, for every bottle sold, RM1 will be donated directly to Kasih Hospice Foundation, helping to fund essential medical equipment for patients on life support.
These contributions go toward items such as oxygen concentrators, hospital beds and other critical equipment that allow patients to receive quality care and comfort.

Oxygen tanks used in hospice care to provide patients with supplemental oxygen, helping to ease breathing difficulties.

An oxygen concentrator that provides patients with a continuous supply of concentrated oxygen to help them breathe more easily.

Some of the hospital beds currently in use are worn out and are in need of repair to ensure patients well-supported during care.
Together, let’s sip not just for ourselves, but for the strength of those who give so much.
