Kombucha is produced through fermentation and one of the natural byproducts of this process includes ethanol, an alcoholic compound where parts of it are converted to acetic acid. It is regarded for health, not intoxication and is similar to other fermented foods like kimchi, sauerkraut and yoghurt.
All flavours of Wild Kombucha contain no more than 0.5% of ABV (alcohol by volume) which is non-intoxicating. We have also lab tested our drinks to make sure that it is safe for consumption.
